Thomas T. Billings is Chair of VanCott's Financial Services Group and a member of the Business Section. Mr. Billings is general counsel for a number of FDIC insured institutions in the state of Utah, and serves as Utah counsel for a large number of national lenders with respect to consumer finance issues. He represents several real estate development companies. Mr. Billings has represented a number of financial institutions together with active representation with and against regulators. His practice focuses on banking, financial institutions (including corporate reorganizations), real estate and commercial transactions, and working with state and local government including legislative matters, commercial litigation, real estate development and outdoor advertising. Mr. Billings currently serves on the Board of Directors of G.E. Capital Financial and Exante Bank. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Banking/Financial Law and was selected as one of the 2007 and 2008 Utah Legal Elite in the area of Banking/Finance Law.
