Timothy W. Blackburn is a member of VanCott's Litigation Section and manager of the firm’s Ogden office. His practice focuses on representation of credit unions which involves documentation for loan transactions and other areas of law specifically affecting credit unions; judicial foreclosure of loans secured by real property; research involving secured transactions under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code; commercial litigation including collection matters and real estate transactions; preparation of real estate leases and escrow agreements; family law, including divorce, adoption and guardian matters and plaintiff’s personal injury and medical malpractice, litigation; and criminal law involving misdemeanor defense and traffic matters. He was named one of the 2007 and 2008 Utah Legal Elite in the area of Business Litigation by Utah Business Magazine.
