Rand L. Cook is a member of VanCott's Business Section and Real Estate Practice Group. His practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate transactions, with particular emphasis on commercial lending. He has experience with loans secured by almost every type of collateral. A substantial portion of Mr. Cook's time has been devoted to representation of clients in connection with the acquisition of large portfolios of commercial loans from the RTC and the subsequent administration of those loans and related properties. Mr. Cook has been recognized by Chambers USA as a Leading Lawyer in Real Estate, was listed in The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Real Estate Law, was recognized in 2007 Mountain States Super Lawyers in the area of Real Estate, and was selected by his peers and listed in Utah Business Magazine as one of the 2007 and 2008 Utah Legal Elite in the area of Real Estate law.
