H. Michael Keller is Chair of VanCott's Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law Practice Group. Mr. Keller's environmental practice focuses primarily on advising clients on environmental issues and risk management in commercial real estate and other transactions, counseling on environmental permits and compliance, and defending environmental enforcement proceedings. In his natural resources practice he advises clients on mineral title and public land and water right regulatory issues and represents clients in administrative proceedings before the Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining on oil, gas and mining regulatory matters. Mr. Keller was named the Utah State Bar's Natural Resources Environmental Lawyer of the Year in 1991, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Natural Resources Law, is recognized in Mountain States Super Lawyers 2007 in the areas of Environmental, Energy & Natural Resources, and was selected by his peers and named in Utah Business Magazine as one of the 2007 and 2008 Utah Legal Elite in the areas of Environmental/Land Use Law.
