H. MICHAEL KELLER is a shareholder, Chair of Van Cott's Natural Resources & Environmental Law Practice Group and member of the Energy Practice Group.  Mr. Keller's environmental practice focuses primarily on advising clients on environmental law issues and risk management in commercial real estate and other transactions, counseling on environmental permits and compliance, and representing clients in environmental regulatory and enforcement proceedings.  In his natural resources practice he advises clients on mineral title, public land and water right regulatory issues, and represents clients in administrative proceedings before the Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining on regulatory matters.  Mr. Keller was named the Utah State Bar's Natural Resources Environmental Lawyer of the Year in 1991, and in 2010 received the Edward W. Clyde Distinguished Service Award.  Additionally, Mr. Keller is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Natural Resources Law, and named in Utah Business Magazine as one of the 2011 Utah Legal Elite in the area of Environmental/Land Use Law.  Mr. Keller maintains an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review and a Band-1 rating with Chambers USA. He is also listed in the International Who's Who of Environmental Lawyers.
