Matthew F. McNulty III

Matthew F. McNulty III is a member of VanCott's Board of Directors, and Chair of the firm's Governmental Relations Practice Group. Mr. McNulty's practice focuses on utility, natural resources, employment and mine safety and health law. He is General Counsel for the Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City. He represents public utility and municipal clients before the Utah Public Service Commission and mining clients in compliance and enforcement matters before the Mine Safety and Health Review Commission. He has represented oil, gas, and mining clients in the state and federal courts, before the Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining, and the Department of Interior Board of Land Appeals. Mr. McNulty also serves as general counsel for physician group practices and local ski manufacturing businesses.  He was selected by his peers and recognized in Utah Business Magazine as one of the 2007 and 2008 Utah Legal Elite in the areas of Environmental/Land Use law.
