David E. Salisbury

David E. Salisbury is a member of VanCott's Business Section. For many years he was involved in the management of the firm and for seven years served as its President. Mr. Salisbury has been involved in the preparation and review of estate planning documents for clients throughout the intermountain region involving both modest and substantial estates. In addition, he has handled a number of estates and the administration of trusts including interfacing with the trust departments of the majority of financial institutions in the State of Utah. He has also worked on the formation of financial institutions, one-bank holding companies, and mergers and acquisitions involving more than twenty separate banking organizations. Mr. Salisbury has a well established practice in general tax, corporate and individual planning; estate administration and post-death planning; corporate mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations; and financial institution and utility regulatory representation. He has also served on the governing boards of several business corporations and charitable organizations. Mr. Salisbury is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® in the areas of Corporate, M&A, Securities Law.
