Stephen D. Swindle is President and serves on the Board of Directors of the firm.  He is a member of VanCott's Business Section, focusing his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, real estate development, professional corporations, non-profit corporations, acquisitions, tax planning, and general corporate matters. He has experience representing for-profit and non-profit organizations with respect to a wide variety of corporate and tax matters. Mr. Swindle represents various financial institutions with respect to tax planning, tax appeals, benefit matters, and shareholder/management agreements. He also represents entities with respect to sales tax and property tax issues. Mr. Swindle is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® in the areas of Corporate Law, Tax Law, and Trust and Estates and he was selected by his peers and recognized in Utah Business Magazine as one of the 2007 and 2008 Utah Legal Elite in the areas of Wills, Trusts and Estates Law.
