Angela E. Atkin is a shareholder at Van Cott and a member of the Tax, Estate and Benefit Planning Group, focusing on all aspects of estate, probate and trust matters.  Ms. Atkin also has experience with petitions and settlements involving the Internal Revenue Service and the Utah State Tax Commission.  Ms. Atkin is a certified public accountant and practiced as an auditor with Grant Thornton, LLP prior to attending law school.  She was recognized as one of Utah's Legal Elite in the areas of wills, trusts and estates by Utah Business Magazine (2007, 2008 and 2009), and was named as a Rising Star (2009 and 2010) by Mountain States Super Lawyers.
