VanCott Hires Two New Associates

May 30, 2006... The law firm of VanCott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy is pleased to announce that Robert H. Scott and Richard H. Reeve have joined the firm.

Richard Reeve joins VanCott's Ogden team where he'll focus his practice in the area of general litigation. A graduate of the University of Utah, Mr. Reeve received a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Russian, cum laude. Prior to earning his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, Mr. Reeve served as an Intern for the Supreme Court of the United States, a Legal Intern for the Corporate Legal Department at Flying J, Inc., a Research Assistant at the University of Iowa College of law, and a Summer Associate with the law firm of VanCott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy. He is fluent in Russian. Mr. Reeve will sit for the Utah State Bar in July.

Robert Scott is the newest member of VanCott's Litigation Section. Mr. Scott comes to VanCott from the Tennessee law firm of Miller and Martin where he worked as a Litigation Associate. Prior to earning his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law, Mr. Scott received his Bachelor in Business Administration, Finance, from the University of Georgia, worked as a financial planner for a for Wunsch Financial Services in Jackson, Wyoming, and served legal internships with Baker, Donelson, Bearman and Caldwell and Miller and Martin - both of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is licensed in the states of Utah, Tennessee, and the U.S District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
