Florence M. Vincent Joins VanCott

January 9, 2007... The law firm of VanCott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy is pleased to announce that Florence M. Vincent has joined the firm. Prior to joining VanCott, Ms. Vincent worked with the Michigan law firm of Clark Hill PLC, where she assisted clients with review and drafting of employee benefit plan documents to ensure compliance with federal (ERISA and Internal Revenue Code) and state law, and conducted due diligence for stock purchase and asset deal agreements relative to employee benefit issues.

Ms. Vincent received her J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law, magna cum laude (2003) where she was Associate Member (2001-2002), Executive Editor (2002-2003) and published Vol. 33, Number 3 (spring 2002) of the University of Toledo Law Review. Ms. Vincent received the Burton A. Maddock Memorial Scholarship and is a member of the Order of the Coif. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, a member of the Oakland County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. An application for admission before the Utah State Bar is pending.

Ms. Vincent received her BSN from the University of Utah, College of Nursing (1995) and is a Registered Nurse licensed in Utah.
