Angela E. Atkin Joins Van Cott
The law firm of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy is pleased to announce that Angela E. Atkin has joined the firm as an Associate. For the past three years, Ms. Atkin has assisted clients with corporate, nonprofit, estate, probate and trust work with the law firm of Jones, Waldo, Holbrook & McDonough. She will continue her practice as a member of Van Cott's Tax, Estate and Benefit Planning Group.
Ms. Atkin received her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Accounting from the University of Utah. She is a certified public accountant and worked for two years as an auditor with Grant Thornton. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Brigham Young University, cum laude, in 2001. Ms. Atkin is a member of the Salt Lake Estate Planning Council and a member of the Advocates and the Planned Giving Committee for the University of Utah Health Sciences Department.
