Tom Barton Joins VanCott
The law firm of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy is pleased to announce that Thomas T. Barton has joined the firm as a shareholder. Tom Barton has spent the past eleven years working as a litigator with the law firm of Prince Yeates & Geldzahler. He focuses his practice in the areas of civil litigation, and labor and employment law, handling cases at the trial and appellate levels. He has represented employers in federal and state administrative proceedings, and in contractually mandated arbitrations.
Mr. Barton received his B.A. from the College of William of and Mary and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School Of Law. He is a member of the Salt Lake County and Federal Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Tax Court.
