Van Cott Expands Estate Planning Practice (Richard Gardner Joins the Firm)


 

The Van Cott law firm is pleased to announce that Richard K. Gardner has joined the firm as an associate with the Tax, Benefit and Estate Planning Group.  Mr. Gardner received his B.S. in Accounting, magna cum laude in 2002, his Masters of Accounting in 2003 from Brigham Young University, and passed the CPA exam in 2005.  In 2006, he received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was Managing Executive Editor of the Virginia Journal of Law & Technology.  He served as an extern for Honorable Larry M. Boyle, Chief Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho and as a Judicial Clerk for Honorable Gerald F. Schroeder, Chief Justice of the Idaho Supreme Court.  Mr. Gardner is a member of the Idaho State Bar, and will sit for the Utah State Bar in February of 2008.
