Angela E. Atkin Named Shareholder
The law firm of VanCott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy is pleased to announce that Angela E. Atkin has been named as a shareholder.
Ms. Atkin is a member of VanCott's Tax, Estate & Benefit Planning group specializing in estate, probate and trust matters. She is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and was recognized as one of Utah's Legal Elite in the areas of Wills, Trusts and Estates by Utah Business Magazine (2007).
Ms. Atkin received her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Accounting from the University of Utah. She is a certified public accountant and worked for two years as an auditor with Grant Thornton, LLP. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Brigham Young University, cum laude, in 2001. Ms. Atkin is a member of the Estate Planning Section of the Utah State Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Salt Lake Estate Planning Council. Ms. Atkin is also a member of the Health Sciences Advocates for the University of Utah and a former member of the Planned Giving Committee for the University of Utah Health Sciences.
