Tom Billings Presents at Utah Association of Financial Services Convention
Van Cott's Tom Billings spoke recently at the Utah Association of Financial Services and National Association of Industrial Bankers on the subject of "Best Practices for Bank Directors".
The UAFS and NAIB organizations champion financial services and industrial banks, working to expand banking services and consumer access to credit across the United States.
Mr. Billings is special counsel for a number FDIC insured institutions in the state of Utah, and serves as Utah counsel for a large number of national lenders with respect to consumer finance issues. He is on the board of directors of OptumHealth Bank and GE Capital Financial. Mr. Billings was named 2009 Director of the Year by Utah Business Magazine. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of Banking/Finance Law and was recognized in Utah Business Magazine as one of the 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 Utah Legal Elite in the areas of Banking/Financial Law.
