Van Cott offers legal support and counsel to clients developing, financing, licensing, operating, and transferring natural gas-fired, coal-fired, hydro, geothermal, solar, and wind powered-generation projects and energy transmission facilities.  Van Cott takes clients from conception through feasibility, planning, financing, licensing, and construction, as well as from operation and maintenance through transfer, disposition, and decommissioning of such projects and facilities.  We provide guidance in each phase of the process, including due diligence, negotiation, regulatory compliance, and documentation of the many aspects of project acquisition and disposition.
